Concordia University presents Community Thought Leaders Series, a quarterly opportunity for the University to recognize the people who bring new ideas and positive messages to the community.

The Community Thought Leaders Series will feature 13 speakers at the University’s 13 accelerated learning centers (located in Wisconsin, Michigan and Missouri) on one night, Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.

Highlights of the series include:

  • John DeGraff – Partner of The Innovatrium, an innovation consulting firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and entrepreneur and product developer.
  • Gary Vaughan – Founding member of Guident Business Solutions, a business resource organization that offers training and education to help businesses succeed and grow.
  • Marlena Ward-Dodds – CEO of The Marketing Maze, an e-marketing and social media company.

Following the presentations, guests are invited to learn more about the many educational opportunities available at the center in their community. Accelerated learning centers offer graduate and undergraduate programs in business, criminal justice, health care, education and liberal arts. Classes generally meet one night a week and much of the coursework can be completed online.

Registration is required. Please visit www.cuw.edu/thoughtleaders for a complete list of speakers and to make a reservation.
