目前,该公司正在为符合条件的客户提供其EV12DD700双通道设备的beta测试版样品,以备批量出货。这种宽输出带宽的12位(或8位)数据转换器,可处理高达每秒12G采样点的采样率,具有在多个频带上生成信号波形的能力。

它与其他DAC的区别在于,它是市场上第一个可支持Ka频段(26GHz以上)操作的产品。也集成了许多复杂的功能,如直接数字合成(DDS),加上通过一个内置的32位数控振荡器(NCO)实现数字上变频(DUC)。这有助于提高吞吐量,而不会对IC的资源造成过度压力。

归功于EV12DD700数模转换器,Teledyne e2v可以让工程师创建具有更强的下一代通用性射频系统。这意味着带有先进数字功能如快速跳频(FFH)和波束形成等的射频系统将得以实现。预期中,该基于软件的方法将会实现通过设定数模转换器,直接在代码中执行配置,而不必因为更改硬件带来不便和费用。目标应用将包括雷达、卫星通信、地面网络基础设施等。

这一最新的声明是在基于EV12DD700的评估板上发布的,Teledyne e2v在春季推出了该评估板,工程师可以通过该评估板初步了解性能水平。现在,通过直接操作样片,他们将有机会亲自了解数模转换器将如何满足其设计并能开开启技术移植计划。
