香港 - Media OutReach - 2021年1月7日 - 亚洲是争取女同性恋、男同性恋、双性恋和跨性别人士(LGBT)权利的全球新战场。我们最近的研究----《骄傲与偏见谱写新篇章》由宏利金融(Manulife)、巴克莱银行(Barclays)和野村证券(Nomura)赞助,通过一项调查收集了中国大陆、中国香港、印度、印度尼西亚、日本、新加坡和台湾地区的359名全职员工的意见。尽管保守的"群体思维"心态仍然普遍存在,但LGBT多元化和包容性在亚洲商业界仍取得了进展。

在过去几年里,西方企业在推进LGBT权利方面发挥了积极作用,而亚洲企业则处于关键转折点。超过60%的印度受访者认为,公司在对LGBT人士的多元化和包容性方面,已经取得实质性或重大进展;而在印度尼西亚、中国香港和日本,则有半数受访者认为进展很小或者没有进展。鉴于人们对在工作场所披露自己的性取向、性别认同的担忧,以上的矛盾表现揭示出人们应更加关注亚洲公司如何才能促进对LGBT群体的包容。
