每个EV12AQ600-FMC-EVM主板都搭载一个EV12AQ600或一个EV12AQ605器件,以及四个单端信号输入和一个FMC连接器,用于连接适当的可编程逻辑器件。此外,还集成了一个高速内部时钟(支持6.4GHz操作)、一个12V额定电源单元和一个ESIstream串行接口,同时还提供了外部时钟和温度监视器的连接。

新的开发套件为基于EV12AQ60x系列的现有硬件产品组合增加了一个维度。同时也包含了之前推出的演示套件和多片ADC同步套件,两者都具有内置FPGA。EV12AQ600-FMC-EVM允许工程师添加他们自己的与实际应用中一致的FPGA,他们可以在原型设计阶段开始创建所需的代码。这意味着他们不必在原型制作工作完成后从头开始。该套件与来自不同供应商的各种FPGA插件板兼容,特别是XQRKU060的alpha数据评估板以及专用于该板的ESIstream实现示例代码。通过ESIstream接口,可以将多个套件同步在一起,以帮助开发更复杂的布置,例如相控阵天线等。

集成在EV12AQ60x系列中的交叉点开关是独特的元素。通过这种方式,每个EV12AQ600和EV12AQ605 ADC的内核都可以用于彼此独立或交错采样。如此一来,4通道模式下的采样率为1.6GSps,2通道模式下的采样率为3.2GSps,或单通道上的采样率为6.4GSps。比特率和输入模拟带宽也可以根据需要进行调整。
