Landscaping- An Outdoor Landscape Redo.

Why is it that one project always leads to another? After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we knew that it was time to do some Spring cleaning and redecorating around The Garden Gates. What started as a fresh coat of varnish on the floor and paint on the walls quickly turned into completely redecorating the interior shop. We’ve rearranged the rooms, added new furniture and fixtures and introduced new designers. All of this beauty and newness of inside quickly inspired an overhaul in the garden center as well.
Our outdoor space had always been a graveled area where we showed outdoor furniture, topiaries, garden fountains and statues. But as much as we arranged and rearranged the space, we were never satisfied. Our new outdoor showroom needed to showcase the endless talents of our landscape architect, Jesse Edmondson, and his team. “I wanted to create an outdoor space that shows customers a realistic example of what a landscape design would look like at home,” he says. Now that the space is covered in perfectly manicured grass, seasonal beds, a patio and even a pergola, it truly looks like a beautiful backyard. Many of our longtime customers stop for a double-take, remarking that the space looks more like a European garden center and certainly not something typical in the US.
Complete with landscape lighting, steel edging, irrigation, pavers, hanging baskets and so much more, our revamped outdoor space has already hosted a number of impromptu get-togethers and received inquiries about using it as an event space. With Jesse’s eye for design and innovation, he used both formal garden technique with an organic flow and turned a difficult space into a lush, inviting oasis.Source http://www.pitchengine.com/pitches/8b2d574e-7264-43bd-95d6-c3bd64735b74
