Burlington, Vt. – Jvillage Network, a leading provider of synagogue websites and online membership solutions for Jewish communities, has acquired the cloud-based ShulSuite membership management (CRM) tools. Jvillage Network now serves more than 200 clients in five countries.
Jvillage Network will integrate ShulSuite’s highly-respected CRM technology and internal software architecture to make it more user-friendly while providing higher levels of customer service and support. ShulSuite’s CRM tools will enhance Jvillage Network’s dynamic content creation team and website/social media/SEO expertise.
“Jvillage Network, which has been building vibrant and engaged websites and social channels since 2009, is now one of the leading providers of totally cloud-based digital CRM tools created to manage relationships and provide content for synagogues, Jewish organizations and other faith groups,” said Yoram Samets, co-founder of Jvillage Network. “The Synagogue member of today is a digital consumer, and all Jewish organizations need to update their online capabilities just as they update their facilities.”
David Behrman, a member of Jvillage Network’s board of directors and president/CEO of Behrman House Publishing, which recently announced that it will become the publisher for a substantial portion of the Union for Reform Judaism’s educational materials, noted the alignment between the newly combined entities.
“With the acquisition of ShulSuite, Jvillage Network now has an outstanding CRM platform supported by increased customer support, financial resources, and of course Jvillage Network’s world-class congregational community offerings,” said Behrman.
Rabbi Dina London and Tamar Meir, both senior members of the ShulSuite team, are joining Jvillage Network.
Jvillage Network is led by Jill Minkoff, who joined the company as director of operations and was promoted to president. Prior to Jvillage Network, she served as a project manager for The Jewish Education Project in New York City, where she promoted innovative strategies to involve post-B’nei Mitzvah youth in the Jewish community. Minkoff also has significant business management experience, having held senior leadership positions with companies including Neiman Marcus, IBM, and Marion Merrell Dow, Inc. A former rabbinical student, she has a long-standing commitment to community service and is a member of the board of directors of Faith House Manhattan, an experiential inter-religious community.
“Jvillage Network offers our clients inspiring and timely content, plus ShulSuite – the best CRM tool available – to build their communities through digital connections,” said Jill Minkoff, president of Jvillage Network. “It’s a critical management tool, and an innovative way to keep people engaged in religion in our modern, distracted world.”
Terms of the agreement, which became effective April 28, 2015, were not disclosed.
