乌多坎铜业成立于2008 年，公司建立之初主要目的就是开发乌多坎铜矿。它是多元化控股公司USM旗下子公司。乌多坎项目拥有2670万吨铜资源，是俄罗斯最大的铜矿床。符合JORC规范的铜品位为1.05%. 该矿床位于俄罗斯远东地区后贝加尔边疆区的卡拉尔区，距离贝加尔-阿穆尔铁路干线的新查拉站30公里。 随着该项目的开发，专门生产阴极铜和硫化物精矿的配套采矿及冶金厂亦将投入使用。
