香港，中国 - Media OutReach - 2016年10月18日 - 拥有「波点女王」美誉、殿堂级日本艺术家草间弥生艺术主题展区将于11月3日在香港杜莎夫人蜡像馆正式揭幕。这是东京以外，唯一一个草间弥生蜡像艺术主题展区。全新展区以其标志性圆点及葫芦为设计蓝本，让访客体验「自我消融」的概念。一众艺术爱好者从此可以不用远赴日本，来香港杜莎夫人蜡像馆便可「朝圣」！

杜莎夫人蜡像馆制作团队为草间弥生量度全身的各项尺寸

作为现今最高身价的当代女艺术家，草间弥生的作品多不胜数，知名作品包括《无限的网》、《无限镜屋》，以及《南瓜》等系列，重复圆点更成为她标志性的创作元素之一。灵感源源不绝的她亦曾跟众多时装品牌及杂志合作，其联乘作品每次定必成为热话。

 

即将揭幕的草间弥生蜡像主题展区，整个空间以黄色为主色，重复布满黑色圆点，访客抬头更会看到悬浮于空中并专程由日本订制的「葫芦」。平行镜加上强烈的灯光营造出无限空间的效果，顿时令空间与自身的界线变得模糊，让访客从「自我消融」的过程中忘却自我。像真度极高的草间弥生蜡像戴着抢眼的红色头发，并穿上黑色圆点黄色长裙，于展区的中央欢迎访客进入她的艺术世界。

 

草间弥生表示："非常开心接受香港杜莎夫人蜡像馆的邀请，在馆内建立艺术主题展区，让香港的朋友可以亲身体验我的创作理念。希望所有到访蜡像馆的人都能由心感受到展区所带出的正面讯息。"

 

香港杜莎夫人蜡像馆总经理游萌女士表示："作为蜡像馆首个以艺术为主题的展区，这标志着我们一直也紧贴市场需要，务求为访客打造更精彩丰富的互动体验。同时，也见证了蜡像馆形象的蜕变，并打破了'蜡像馆只有蜡像'的观念。"
