ORTON-GILLINGHAM方法 –阅读障碍介入的全球标杆抵达马来西亚

由于这会对社会带来不良后果,因此父母的责任重大,他们应确保阅读障碍子女能够掌握阅读能力以确保他们可以拥有良好生活素质。

 

受国际阅读障碍协会(IDA)承认的Orton-Gillingham方法是"多感知"阅读教学法的先河。这高度结构化循证方法由甫开设的Altuz Academy方法引入马来西亚。

 

这家阅读障碍优质教育中心的所有学术语言治疗师均接受严格培训,并在监督下进行Orton-Gillingham治疗师和教育家学会Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators,简称AOGPE)以及IDA认可的实习课程。

 

Altuz Academy创办人崔淑玲博士表示:"凡是涉及帮助阅读障碍学生的治疗专家、教育工作者和教师都必须经过审查,而且受过有监督和问责性的高级循证法培训。阅读能力培训必须全面性,并且获得国际机构认可,同时包含一段有监督的实习期。此外,为了涉及儿童的成长着想,他们也必须坚持持续进修。"

 

崔博士与中心管理人叶紫凌在国际阅读障碍领域创造历史,成为马来西亚首两名AOGPE培训的学术语言治疗师。她们将继续受AOGPE观察和审核以求达到和保持高水平教学。

 

Orton-Gillingham方法是由首位发现阅读障碍的Samuel Orton医生与才华横溢的教师兼心理学家Anna Gillingham在上世纪二十年代所开发。七十多年来,逾十万项科学研究取得了结论证明阅读教学法必须包含五大支柱,它们分别是语素意识、系统拼读、流利性、词汇量和理解力,进一步支持Orton-Gillingham教学法。

 

在熟练导师手中,Orton-Gillingham成为十分强大的教学法,可帮助各年龄和能力的学生将学习体验变得更有意义。此方法的主要特色是多感知、顺序、递增性、累积性、因材施教、音标为基而且明确。
