Signature Private Dinner Highlight | A Family Affair

JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING | April 30, 2015 —The 2015 Jackson Hole Wine Auction will take place June 25–27, 2015. We are grateful to the five celebrated chefs and renowned vintners who are donating their time and passion in support of the Grand Teton Music Festival.  They work hand-in-hand to create superb food and wine pairings for a one-of-a-kind dining experience at our Signature Private Dinners as well as collaborate on the Gala Dinner and Auction menu. 

On Friday, June 26, Restaurant August’s Chef John Besh and California winery Pahlmeyer will present a very special evening celebrating how passion and family create greatness.

Chef John Besh is a native son dedicated to the culinary riches of Louisiana. Besh grew up in southern Louisiana and has set the benchmark for fine dining in New Orleans – a town whose identity is bound to its food. His eight acclaimed restaurants (August, Besh Steak, Lüke, Lüke San Antonio, La Provence,Domenica, Pizza Domenica and Borgne) celebrate the bounty and traditions of the region. He is the host of two national public television cooking shows, based on his award-winning cookbooks: “Chef John Besh’s New Orleans,” and “Chef John Besh’s Family Table.”

Founded in 1986 by Jayson Pahlmeyer with the goal of producing extraordinary Bordeaux-style wines, the Pahlmeyer team is dedicated to sharing the magic that turns grapes into exquisite elixirs, presenting an exclusive portfolio of critically acclaimed, hand-crafted wines and providing their customers with dedicated personal service.  Presenting their extraordinary wines is Jayson’s daughter, Cleo. She began working at the winery in sales and marketing in 2008, and with characteristic Pahlmeyer exuberance has infused the winery with new energy. Layering her own exceptional passion on what she has learned from her father, she is excited to pursue her role in the Pahlmeyer legacy.
