LOS ANGELES (May 3, 2016) – International actress
Jordan was excited to land the lead role of director Rick Greenwood Jr.’s film, but also understood the obligation that came with it. Jordan explains, “The fact that this was so tragic and a real story, not simply based in one, was constantly pulsating in the air on set. We had this brutal yet beautiful responsibility to do justice to this story the best we could.”
This European actress raised in Chile, has a well-established reputation internationally. Jordan joined director Luis Ureta for acclaimed theater company Teatro La Puerta’s 20-year Anniversary Trilogy. She appeared in the prestigious Chilean-European Dramaturgy Festival playing the daughter of Sundance Film Festival’s Best Actress award-winner Catalina Saavedra, in the celebrated “The Mountainbikers,” and the lead in the award-winning play “Dead Head,” alongside Chilean actress María Izquierdo and directed by renowned artist Rodrigo Bazaes, winner of the Sundance Jury prize. She played all the female roles in the Chilean premiere of the Tony Award-winning play “The Pillowman,” directed by notable actor and director Willy Semler and also staring Felipe Braun, Mateo Iribarren and Diego Muñoz.
Now residing in Los Angeles, Jordan is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in the Performing Group. Her credits also include the lead roles in the Spanish language version of Nickelodeon’s “Bubble Guppies” and Playhouse Disney Channel’s “Puppets Town.” She steps in as the love interest in the award-winning music video "Clean Me Up,” directed by Valentina Avayu and the role of ‘Ella’ in multi-Emmy award-winning director Shane Stanley's "The Untold Story."
Mia Ella Jordan is represented by Linda McAlister Talent.
